Facebook recently announced their consideration for integration of video ads on the social network. The rumor has been confirmed now and Facebook Video AD plans will allow advertisers to place ads in video format.
The Video Ads will appear in the news feed of users based on their sex and age. The arrival of video ads is expected by the end of 2013.
3 pubs video per day on Facebook
To have a video ad on Facebook, companies will have to pay an amount ranging from 1 to 2.5 million. These ads will appear in the news feed of users not based on their location or their interests, but their age and sex. A user should not see more than three 15-second show per day. Some experts argue that a paid version of Facebook might appear.
Video ads on Twitter
Advertisements in video format will also appear on Twitter, but in a different model. The content will be adapted to the Web unlike Facebook which show TV style commercials.
